Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect and safety of ghycolic acid on treatment of mild to moderate acne. Methods 20 patients with facial mild to moderate acne were chosen, glycolic acid was used for chemical peeling biweekly for five times.Clinical effect and life quality were evaluated before and after treatment.Side effect was observed during treatment. Results The effective rate at the twelfth week was significantly higher than that at the fourth week(P<0.01),while there was no significant difference between the fourth and eighth week(P<0.01).Patients'life quality index at the twelfth week was significanty lower than that at the fourth weekSide effect was observed in four patients during treatment(P<0.01). Conclusion Glycolic acid peeling is safe and effective in the treatment of facial mild to moderate acne, and is worth to be promoted.关键词
