Abstract
Objective:To analyze the application of the combined detection of Procalcitoin(PCT) and C-reactive protein (CRP) in elderly infectious disease. Method:To study the differences between the testing results of PCT and CRP with severe bacterial infections 39 cases, general bacterial infections 52 cases, viral infection 48 cases and non-infectious diseases 60 cases.Result:PCT levels of severe bacterial infections (group Ⅰ) and general bacterial infections(group Ⅱ)significantly higher than those of viral infection group (group Ⅲ)and non-infectious diseases(control group,group Ⅳ), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);CRP levels in group Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ were higher than that in group Ⅳ,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), but the three groups of CRP between comparison,there was no statistically significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion:PCT and CRP are closely associated with the elderly infectious diseases, the combined detection has greater value.关键词
