大学新生英语学习策略现状分析:基于与非洲二语习得者的对比
An Investigation into English Learning Strategies of Chinese Freshmen:Comparison Made between Chinese and African Students in Second Language Acquisition

Abstract
With 187 Chinese English learners and 106 African Chinese learners investigated by means of strategy inventory for language learning, it was found out that meta-cognitive strategy was most frequently used by both of them.But the strategy using frequency a-mong Chinese English language learner was significantly lower than that among African Chinese learners.The frequency of language learning strategy among Chinese learners from high to low were meta-cognitive strategies, cognitive strategies, compensation strategy, memory strategy, social strategy and affective strategy.Boys'frequency in using cognitive strategy was higher than girls' , and the fre-quency was significantly higher in the older ones than that in the younger ones.关键词
