摘要

Abstract

To solve problem of negative sequence components and to compensate reactive power and eliminate harmonics, back-to-back connection structure of railway static power conditioner (RPC) connected to traction network directly with two single-phase modular multilevel converters (MMC) is designed. Compared with traditional RPC, MMC-RPC eliminates step-down transformer to increase DC voltage and reduce DC current. A direct power control strategy (DPC) without angular frequency and inductance parameters using mathematical model of single-phase system voltage and power is proposed according to analysis of railway power supply. Taking V/v traction as example, a simulation model is constructed in MATLAB/Simulink. The results show that the proposed strategy is effective.
