摘要

Abstract

As a new transmission way, without major modifications to the existing AC transmission line, high voltage superposed AC and DC power transmission technique can greatly solve the bottleneck problem that transmission capacity of AC transmission line is hard to approach the thermal stability limit, and it has a good prospect. To further advance the developments and applications of this technology, the main circuit structure and operational modes of DC superposition are analyzed, the mechanism of using Zigzag transformer to achieve superposition and separation of AC and DC, and to avoid magnetic saturation are analyzed in this paper. The transmission characteristics for the effect of superimposed proportion and transmission distance on the transmission capacity are studied, the relationship between optimal power transmission angle and the transmission distance is obtained. The simulation model for high voltage superposed AC and DC transmission with Zigzag transformer is set up to verify the correctness and validity of the transmission characteristics.
