Abstract
Objective To analyze the grammatical and writing mistakes in English titles of articles published in Chinese Journal of Woman and Child Health Research in 2010-2014.Methods Ten English titles were randomly selected from each volume of the journal in last five years, and there were 300 in total.An English editor and a college teacher of English analyzed the titles individually.Results English titles were in accordance with Chinese ones in structure and meaning, but there were some English titles with grammatical, vocabulary and writing mistakes.Diachronically, the mistakes reduced and the quality of English titles was improved gradually.Conclusion Strengthening English literature and basic knowledge learning and analyzing the requirement of notice to contributors are helpful to authors in writing high-qualified English titles.关键词
