辽宁地区一次罕见冻雨天气分析
Analysis of a rare freezing rain event in Liaoning province

Abstract
Based on conventional meteorological data from automatic weather stations and intensive automatic sta-tions,real-time artificial weather observations,AMDAR (Aircraft Meteorological Data Relay),Doppler radar data, atmospheric features of a freezing rain event on February 24 to 25,2010 over Liaoning province were analyzed. The results indicate that the freezing rain is triggered by encounter of cold front and warm front ahead of upper lev-el polar-front.For 2-3 hours after surface air temperature drops to 0 ℃,precipitation phase transforms from rain in-to freezing rain.When freezing rain occurs,atmospheric stratification of background air has a "three-layer struc-ture"and it has dual melt layers where sub-saturated region forms from 1.2 km to 1.8 km height between two melt layers.In addition,the presence of 0 ℃ layer bright zone on radar echo chart suggests that there is a signifi-cant precipitation phase change in the region.关键词
