Numerical Analysis and Experiment of Cavitation Performance of Centrifugal Pumps used in Oil Field
摘要
Abstract
In order to accurately predict cavitation performance of centrifugal pumps used in oil field,three-dimensional simula-tion was performed by using FLUENT software with mixture model and cavitation model.Comparisons between simulated values and measured values of NPSH were made,and the reliability of the numerical simulation was verified.Meanwhile,contrast simula-tions on variations in working parameters were carried out.It is concluded that:(1) Impellers with 6 blades had better cavitation characteristic than 4 and 8 blades.(2) The lower the impeller'' s rotational speed was,the better the cavitation performance was. (3) The cavitation performance would be improved by decreasing feed quantity.关键词
