Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To probe into the clinical efficacy of carvedilol and metoprolol in treatment of dilated cardiomyopathy with heart failure .METHODS: 116 heart failure patients with dilated cardiomyopathy admitted in Wenshan People's Hospital from Jul.2012 to Dec.2014 were divided into observation group and control group via random number table , with 58 cases in each group .The control group were treated with metoprolol based on conventional medical treatment , and the observation group received metoprolol .The clinical efficacy and the left ventricular ejection fraction ( LVEF), left ventricular end diastolic diameter ( LVDD) and 6min walking distance before and after treatment was compared in two groups .RESULTS: The total effective rate of observation group was 87.93%( 51/58 ) , significantly higher than that of the control group [ 74.14%( 43/58 ) ] , the difference was statistically significant ( P <0.05 ).After treatment, LVDD, LVEF and 6min walk distance in two groups were significantly better than those of before treatment , and the improved indexes in observation group were better than that of control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).CONCLUSIONS:Compared with metoprolol, the clinical efficacy of carvedilol in treatment of dilated cardiomyopathy with heart failure is more significant , can effectively improve the patient's cardiac function , and it is worthy of clinical popularization and application .关键词
