Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the utilization of pantoprazole sodium for injection in prevention of stress ulcer in Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Kaifeng City ( hereinafter referred to as “our hospital”) , and to evaluate the rationality of drug use .METHODS:512 medical records with the utilization of pantoprazole sodium for injection in prevention of stress ulcer from our hospital in 2014 were randomly selected to conduct the analysis and evaluation in terms of medicinal indication , the usage of solvents , route of administration , dosage and frequency of administration and course of treatment etc .RESULTS:The proportion of medical records with pantoprazole sodium for injection without indications were the highest , reached 63.48%( 325/512 ) .The usage of solvent and route of administration were basically rational;the frequency of the single dose was under rationality; the treatment course of medical records for 1,2,3-7,7-14 d accounting for 11.33%(58/512),9.57%(49/512), 51.98%(261/512) and 28.13%(144/512), respectively.CONCLUSIONS: The rationality of utilization of pantoprazole sodium for injection in prevention of stress ulcer need to be further strengthened in our hospital .关键词
