Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the application of PDCA cycle in medication safety of patients with tumor . METHODS:246 patients with tumor that admitted in Jiaxing Hospital of Zhejiang Armed Police Corps in 2013 were selected as the before implementation group , another 268 cases were selected as the after implementation group .The before implementation group adopted the routine medication management mode , and the after implementation group adopted PDCA cycle mode of medication safety management .The incidence of unsafe medication event and the nursing satisfaction of the two groups was compared .RESULTS: The incidence of unsafe medication event in the after implementation group was 3.36%( 9/268 ) , which was significantly lower than that of the before implementation group 11.38%( 28/246 ) , the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the after implementation group was 92.91%(249/268) , which was higher than that of the before implementation group [ 80.89%( 199/246 ) ] , the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).CONCLUSIONS:The application of PDCA cycle can significantly reduce the incidence of unsafe medication event in patients with tumor .It is worthy of clinical promotion .关键词
