Expression of osteopontin in colorectal cancer with clinical pathological characteristics and prognosis
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between the osteopontin ( OPN ) expression of colorectal cancer tissues with the clinical characteristics and prognosis. Methods The expressions of OPN in colorectal cancer tissues and their corresponding para-cancerous tissues from 112 cases of colorectal cancer patients were detccted by immunohistochemistry . The relationship between the expressions of OPN and the clinicopathological features in pait-ients with colorectal cancer were analyzed. Results The OPN expression of colorectal cancer tissues was signifi-cantly higher than their corresponding adjacent normal tissues, the difference was statistically significant ( P <0. 05). Its expression was significantly associated with tumor size, histological differentiation, TNM stage, tumor status. Disease-free survival, and overall survival time of OPN protein positive expression group were lower than that of the negative group, respectively, the differences were statistically significant(P<0. 05). The expression of OPN in colorectal cancer tissues was an independent prognostic factor. Conclusion The expression of OPN is sig-nificantly increased in colorectal cancer tissues, and the positive expression of OPN is associated with the prognostic of patients with colorectal cancer.关键词
