Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of rat nerve growth factor combined with small life-continued decoction in the treatment of acute facial neuritis. Methods 67 patients with acute facial neuritis hospitalized into our hospital from May,2011 to June,2014 were randomly divided into a treatment group (n=34) and a control group (n=33).The control group were intravenously dripped aciclovir and given mecobalamin injection pot and orally took prednisone (for one week),did functional exercise early, and took acupuncture treatment one week from then;in addition, the treatment group were intramuscularly injected rat nerve growth factor and orally took small life-continued decoction.15 days after the treatment the efficacies were evaluated. Results The Portmann score was (8.94 ± 1.98) on day 7 of and (12.35 ± 2.13) on day 15 of the treatment in the treatment group, which was significantly better than that in the control group [day 7 (5.28 ± 2.18) and day 15 (8.15 ± 2.64)],with statistical differences (P<0.05).Day 7 of the treatment, the CMAP amplitude of facial nerve decreased less in the treatment group than in the control group [(0.86 ± 0.31) vs.(0.45 ± 0.56)],with statistical difference(P < 0.05);day 15 of the treatment, the CMAP amplitude of facial nerve increased more significantly in the treatment group than in the control group [(1.27 ± 0.56) vs.(0.85 ± 0.49)],with a statistical difference (P<0.05).Conclusions Rat nerve growth factor combined with small life-continued decoction in the treatment of acute facial neuritis can better improve the patients' symptoms, recover the patients' of neural function defect, and obviously decrease CAMP amplitude and the patients have better long-term outcomes. Therefore,it is an effective method in the treatment of facial paralysis.关键词
