Abstract
Objective To study the effect of fast track surgery nursing for patients with esophageal cancer in preoperative period.Methods 80 patients with esophageal cancer surgically treated at our hospital at our hospital from January,2014 to January,2015 were selected randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,40 for each group.The control group were routinely nursed in perioperative period;in addition,the observation group received fast track surgery nursing.The degrees of anxiety and depression when entering operation room,the levels of cortisol,epinephrine,and norepinephrine when being hospitalized and entering operation room,30 minutes after starting operation,and 2 hours after operation,the visual analogue scale (VAS) 2,6,and 12 hours after operation,the time for postoperative exhaustion,ambulation time,hospitalization time,and the incidence of complications were compared between these two groups.Results When entering operation room,the scores of anxiety and depression were significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group.When entering operation room,30 minutes after starting operation,and 2 hours after operation,the levels of cortisol,epinephrine,and norepinephrine were significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group.6 and 12 hours after operation,the VAS score was significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group.The time for postoperative exhaustion,ambulation time,and hospitalization time were significantly shorter in the observation group than in the control group.The incidence of complications was significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group.The differences above were statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusions Fast track surgery nursing can effectively relieve the preoperative negative psychological stress in patients with esophageal cancer.It can also reduce intraoperative stress index and promote postoperative recovery.Therefore,it is worth being generalized.关键词
