Abstract
Regarding to the slab separately loading scenario in a voided slab deck,an alternative disposal method is presented to replace the original voided slab deck by post-tensioned T-beam with variable depth.In this design,the beam keeps the same depth at end part with the original voided slab and has an increased depth in the middle part.As a result,the new superstructure can be replaced without altering the existing bridge deck elevation.To achieve this,the rib spacing is reduced (smaller than that of prefabricated and transversely assembled T-beam),and the cross section and the distribution of prestressed tendons is optimized as well.In addition,both “pre-embedded steel plates”and “shear reinforcement skeleton”are elaborately designed to enhance the end of the T-beam.The practice can be very informative for the similar retrofit projects.关键词
