Significant Problems in the Shaking Table Test Model Design of High-rise Isolated Structures

Abstract
With the development of base isolation,the high-rise isolated structure has been widely concerned. There are some significant problems in the model design of isolated high-rise structures,which have a great effect on the accuracy of shaking table test results.Based on a high-rise isolated structure in Xichang (seismic intensity 9),the basic process of the isolated model structure design for shaking table test is introduced.Some significant problems in the model design are presented,including the consideration of the massive base in the similitude design,simplification of the isolators and estimation of the model period.The solutions to the problems are useful for the future shaking table test model design of isolated structures.关键词
