摘要

Abstract

This paper briefly introduced the full-hall formwork support system with the Mortise and Tenon Frame Joints and conducted 11 full-scale prototype test with the height of more than 8m.The pole spacing and bar-step’s influence on the new type support system’s ultimate bearing capacity with or without X-bracing were analyzed.The X-bracing’s effects on the new type support system’s ultimate bearing capacity were studied.Two FEM models with semi-rigid joints and rigid joints were developed based on the experimental displacement results to perform nonlinear post-buckling analyses. FEM results were compared with experimental data and the results verified that the semi-rigid joints model is feasible but the rigid joints analysis model was unsafe for engineering practice.It was found during FEM analyses that there is difference for the load-displacement curve between the semi-rigid and rigid joints model and such difference could reflect the analysis model’s stiffness characteristic and failure mode.
