Abstract
Objective To investigate the efficacy of electro-acupuncturing ( EA) Sanyinjiao on estradiol and cerebral neurotransmitters in natural premenopausal rats.Methods The natural aging rats was slected as animal model. The rats were randomly divided into treatment group ( EA group ) , model group ( control group ) , the normal group ( youth group) ,7 rats in each group.Rats in EA group were treated by Sanyinjiao acupuncture every other day,and total-ly 15 times.Other groups of rats were feed routine and crawled every other day without acupuncture.Cortex neurotrans-mitter levels of each group were determined by HPLC with electrochemical detection ( HPLC-ECD) .The contents of es-tradiol of each group were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Results Estradiol level of model group was significantly lower than that of the normal groups(P<0.01).Compared with model group,Estradiol was increased sig-nificantly in treatment group (P<0.01).Compared with normal group,DA was decreased in model group,but no statis-tical significance (P>0.05),while the NE was decreased and 5-HT increasing significantly (P<0.01).The ratio of 5-HT/NE was increased significantly in model group(P<0.01).Compared with the model group,DA and NE of treat-ment group were significantly increased (P<0.01,P<0.05),but 5-HT was significantly decreased (P<0.01).The ratio of 5-HT/NE was decreased significantly in treatment group when compared with model group (P<0.01).Conclu-sion EA Sanyinjiao can effectively regulate the ovarian estradiol and cerebral cortex neurotransmitters of natural aging perimenopausal rats.There are significant correlation between estradiol and the cerebral cortex neurotransmitters inclu-ding DA,NE and 5-HT.关键词
