Fitting technology of axial reinforcing bars in concrete of spiral case and tailrace conduit of hydropower stations

Abstract
Aiming at the difficulties in the layout of reinforcing bars of complicated structures of hydropower stations, a realiza-tion methodology for three-dimensional layout of reinforcing bars in transition section of spiral case and tailrace conduit of hydro-power station is proposed. The discrete method on the basis of lofting is used to generate the layout form of axial reinforcing bars in the concrete, and then the straight line, arc and spline curves are adopted to fit the bars according to the curvature of discrete points of circular bars. The fitting methods of various curve types as well as curvature calculation are mainly introduced. Based on the results, a three-dimensional reinforcing bars design CAD system for spiral case and tailrace conduit is developed, which im-proves the quality and design efficiency of the complex structure.关键词
