The development of vat dyes in 100 years(to be continued)
摘要
Abstract
The first vat dye (vat dye RSN) was synthesized and produced by BASF in 1901, which was more than 100 years. Considering indigo blue was synthesized by BASF in 1987, it has a history of far more than 100 years. Vat dyes are expensive because of its complex chemical structure and long synthesis process with large amount of "three wastes" that are difficult to deal with. However, vat dyes are colourful, high color density and impossible to be replaced by any other dyes. Besides printing and dyeing, vat dyes can obtain high-grade organic pigments after pigmentation. Some of those high-grade organic pigments can extend to optical physics, liquid crystal in the electrochemistry optical material fields and other high-tech fields, which are indispensable function materials and completely changed.关键词
