Study on the propagation characteristics of UWB signal in the indoor environment with metallic furniture
摘要
Abstract
The propagation characteristics of ultra-wideband(UWB) is the important part of UWB channel theory. In this paper, the propagation characteristics of UWB signal in the indoor complex environment with metallic furniture are discussed based on the time domain ray tracing method. A number of propagation parameters are analyzed by considering of multipath propagation mechanisms including direct ray, reflection, diffraction and transmission, such as the received power, root-mean-square (RMS) delay spread, and so on. The results show that:(1)The received power and RMS delay spread are reduced as the existence of metallic furniture. (2)The multi-reflection and diffraction are important in NLOS and they can′t be ignored. These results provide the theoretical basis for wireless communication network coverage and optimization of UWB signal in indoor complex environment.关键词
