Abstract
ABSTRACT:In order to eliminate the starting dead zone of single-phase flux switching motor (FSM), this paper presents a novel rotor design scheme. The working principle and the existed method of weakening or eliminating the starting dead zone for single-phase FSM were analyzed. Base on the analysis, a misalignment assembly scheme of the rotor was presented and two kinds of misalignment assembly rotor structure was analyzed using 3D finite element analysis. The analysis proves that the rotor contains two different pole arc length laminations is more practical. The control circuit and control method for the single-phase FSM with the new rotor were discussed, and the collaboration simulation was carried out. The single-phase FSM prototype equipped with the new rotor and the controller were manufactured. The experimental test results prove that the rotor presented in this paper can eliminate the starting dead zone of the single-phase FSM, it’s practical in engineering practice.关键词
