Abstract
Objective To analyze the characteristics of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) after improvement of screening management and to explore a more convenient, professional and appropriate way for screening man-agement. Methods Conversation group inclued a total of 570 preterm infants who were hospitalized in our hospital from Sep. 2012 to Mar. 2014 and control group included 481 preterm infants from Feb. 2011 to Aug. 2012. The clinical characteristics of the preterm infants in two groups such as gestational age,birth weight and time of oxy-gen inhaling were analysised. Results The completion rate of ROP screening in conservation group was significantly higher than control group (87.76% vs 80.66%, <0.01);the incidence rate of ROP in conservation group was significantly higher than control group (8.08% vs 12.67%, <0.05) .The incidence rate of ROP and the severity of ROP were correlated with the short gestational age, low birth weight and long time of oxygen inhaling. Conclu-sion Improvement of the screening management can increase the completion rate of ROP screening and decrease the incidence rate of ROP. Birth weight, gestational age and time of oxygen inhaling were the most significant fac-tors associated with ROP and should be prevented as early as we can.关键词
