Abstract
Intermittent exotropia has the characteristics of progressive development, with the increase of age, fusion and accommodative convergence ’s function gradually decline,at the end compensatory ability disappear, and binocular visual function damage. But pathological mechanism and natural course of the disease is not clear. Postop-erative treatment is in dispute, so it has been the hotspot in the study of strabismus. The etiology, clinical charac-teristics, treatment and follow-up visual function reconstruction are reviewed.关键词
