Abstract
Objective To investigate the application of irrational drug use to promote the rational drug use in clinic. Methods Totally 27 246 prescriptions of Chinese patent medicines were selected randomly in the hospital in 2013. The retrospective analysis was per-formed on its relevant medication information for evaluating the rational drug use,and the irrational drug use was analyzed. Results Ir-rational drug use was found in 765 prescriptions of Chinese patent medicines,and the irrational prescriptions accounted for 2. 81%,a-mong which unqualified writing,irrational drug use and extraordinary prescriptions accounted for 58. 56%,37. 52% and 3. 92% respec-tively. Conclusion The phenomenon of irrational use of Chinese patent medicines is prominent. Clinicians should strengthen the aware-ness of physicians on standard prescription writing and the theoretical study of traditional Chinese medicine. The pharmacist should play the full role in the rational use of Chinese patent medicines and grasp the prescription quality strictly to promote the rational applica-tion of Chinese patent medicines.关键词
