Abstract
Objective To explore the changes and significance of Caspase-3,Survivin and CD44v6 in peripheral blood of patients treated with adjuvant chemotherapy after colectomy .Methods Sixty patients with stageⅡcolon cancer who had undergone colectomy were divided into chemotherapy group ( n=30 ) and non-chemotherapy group ( n=30 ) according to whether they received adjuvant chemotherapy after colectomy or not .The chemotherapy group was treated with chemotherapy regimen of oxaliplatin ,calcium folinate and 5-fluorouracil for six courses .The expression levels of Caspase-3,Survivin and CD44v6 in peripheral blood one day before operation and six months after operation were compared between two groups . RT-PCR was used to detect the expressions of Caspase-3 and Survivin,while flow cytometry was used to detect the CD44v6 expression.Results There was no significant difference in the expression levels of Survivin ,Caspase-3 and CD44v6 between two groups before operation ( P >0.05 ) .Six months after operation , the expression levels of Survivin and CD44 v6 in peripheral blood decreased significantly in two groups in contrast with those before operation ( P<0 .05 ) , and the decrease in the chemotherapy group was more significant (P<0.05).Six months after operation ,the expression level of Caspase-3 in peripheral blood increased significantly in two groups compared with the preoperative (P<0.05), and the increase in the chemotherapy group was more significant ( P<0.05) .Conclusion Adjuvant chemotherapy after colectomy might play an anti-tumor role in colon cancer via cell apoptosis .It might inhibit tumor metastasis .关键词
