Abstract
Objective To analyze the effect of percutaneous vertebroplasty treating senile compression fracture of thora-columbar vertebrae. Methods Clinical data of 30 cases with senile compression fracture of thoracolumbar vertebrae ad-mitted into our hospital from June 2013 to October 2014 were selected.According to different therapeutic methods,they were evenly divided into treatment group and control group.In treatment group,percutaneous vertebroplasty was provid-ed,while in the control group,non-surgical treatment was applied.The clinical effect between two groups was compared. Results Improvement of FIM score and visual analogue scale (VAS) score in treatment group after treatment was obvi-ously better than that of control group respectively (P<0.05);vertebral height loss,restoration of anterior and posterior edge height in injured vertebra and correction of Cobb angle in treatment group was obviously better than that of con-trol group respectively (P<0.05). Conclusion Percutaneous vertebroplasty treating senile compression fracture of thora-columbar vertebrae is beneficial to alleviating pain reaction and improving physical function,which is worthy of clinical expansion.关键词
