Development of Par ents-reported Embarrassment Scale for Pupils
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To develop the Parents-reported Embarrassment Scale for primary school chil-dren and examine its reliability and validity.Methods:On the base of literature review and open question -naire,original items were developed.The researcher modified and screened items through forecast .After that535 primary students were investigated .Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis was used to de -termine the final structure of the scale and test its reliability and validity.Rseults:The final vision consis-ted of 15 items,including 2 factors,namely violate embarrassment and concern embarrassment ,accumula-tive contribution rate was 48.81%.The homogeneity reliability of scale and 2 dimensions were 0.787~0.864,split-half reliability were 0.797~0.884,retest reliability were 0.742~0.853.The confirmatory factor analysis showed the scale had satisfying structure validity(χ2 =151.404,χ2/df=1.701,RMR=0.042,SRMR=0.051,GFI=0.912,AGFI=0.881,IFI=0.801,TLI=0.908,CFI=0.922,RMSEA=0 .051 ) .Conclusion:The scale can be applied for relevant researches on embarrassment and offer refer-ences about mental health counseling of children.关键词
