摘要

Abstract

The precision of edge localization is critical in the measurement of geometrical characteristics of round pass. An edge loca ̄ting algorithm is introduced in this paper. The variance between pixel and other surrounding pixels is calculated and the direction of other surrounding pixels is marked, then, the direction of pixel with largest variance value is chosen as supposed edge position and morphological method is used to deal with the low precision edge to get the correct edge. The result proves the algorithm's validation.
