Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of allogenic fascia reconstruction of annular ligament in the treatment of old Monteggia fracture in children. Methods A total of 11 children with old Monteggia fractures in our hospital were treated with allogenic fascia reconstruction of annular ligament and kirschner wire fixation of humeroradial joint and proxi-mal ulna and radial after surgery. The treatment results were observed. Results The age of the patients ranged from 6 years to 13 years old during the operations. The duration between injury and treatment ranged 1-3 years. The average operation time was 70 min and the average amount of bleeding in operation was 150 ml. All the 11 cases were followed up for 1. 0-3. 5 years, and the average follow-up period was 2. 58 years. Elbow joint function returning to normal in 7 cases;different degrees of rota-tion function limitation in 2 cases, average rotation limitation was 35°, average limited pronation and supination were 15° and 20° flexion and extension was limited in 1 case, straight limitation was 10°, with no obvious constrained buckling; Radial neck thinning in 1 case. Conclusion Allogenic fascia reconstruction of annular ligament is less invasive and can achieve a better clinical effect in the treatment of old Monteggia fracture in children than the application of autologous fascia.关键词
