摘要

Abstract

A practical measuring method of subsynchronous oscillation (SSO)damping was promoted to monitor the damping of SSO online.The new method can be easily realized on a computer,which consists of an intelligent fault detect algorithm and a real-time damping calculation algorithm.The real-time SSO damping monitoring system was applied in some power plants.The application results show that,this de-vice can calculate the system damping real-time and evaluate the inhibition effect of subsynchronous inhibi-tion equipment,which can provide more accurate parameters for the SSO simulation.
