矿业城市可持续发展评价研究--以淮北市为例
Assessment of the sustainable development of mining cities:a case study of Huaibei city

Abstract
On the basis of an analysis of the social development of mining cities, an index system is established for the assessment of sustainable development in such cities. The index system contains four components: survival support capacity, economy support capacity, society support capacity, and environment support capacity. A target analytical hierarchy process is used to confirm the weightings used in the index. A case study of Huaibei city, Anhui province, reveals that the city’s capacity for sustainable development showed a volatile but overal increasing trend from 2000 to 2010, and the economic transformation of the city has achieved initial encouraging results regarding sustainability.关键词
