东海西湖凹陷平北断裂特征及其对油气成藏的控制
Fractures in the Pingbei area and their control on hydrocarbon accumulation in the Xihu sag of the East China Sea

Abstract
The Xihu Sag has been affected by regional tectonic stress fields related to three stages of evolution: rift, depression, and regional subsidence. The Pingbei area is located in the center of the western slope region of the Xihu Sag. In response to the regional tectonic regime, two sets of faults have formed, trending mainly NE-SW to NNE-SSW with a secondary direction of NW-SE, with different scales and characteristics because of their formation during different evolutionary stages. These faults have preferred orientations and are segmented from north to south. Recently, three-dimensional seismic data have been col ected and interpreted to al ow a thorough investigation of the characteristics of fault development in the Pingbei area. The data show that the accumulation of hydrocarbons in the area is control ed mainly by the fault system.关键词
