Abstract
Objective To analysis of the causes of chronic cough of children of dif erent ages in Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province. Methods We selected 120 cases of chronic cough in children in Shaoguan City of Guangdong Province as the observation group .al the patients were divided according to age: age group, preschool children group,infant group, infant group. At the same time, we selected 120 cases of non chronic cough but have obvious symptoms of cough in children as control group. Comparison of risk factors between two groups of children, at the same time analysis of etiology and etiological characteristics of the infection. Results Compared with the control group, al ergy history, tobacco exposure factors, past history of respiratory disease, the house smel factors, air pol ution factors, the incidence in winter and spring rate,the observation group were increased significantly, the dif erence was statistical y significant (P<0.05). Etiology, there were significant dif erences in dif erent age groups (P<0.05). Conclusion Children with chronic cough cause of disease was more complex, with age characteristic. Al ergy history, living environment, the past history of respiratory disease were risk factors for disease.关键词
