Discussion on Current Situation, Protection and Utilization of Reserved Ancient Books of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Abstract
There are a huge amount of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) ancient books, which are mainly collected in TCM libraries, including some rare versions. However, because of weak technical strength, terrible collection situation and poor management measures, the reserved TCM ancient books are under undesirable situation and the protection and exploitation are vitally important. Restoration of bibliographic description needs further revision and protection and restoration of TCM ancient books should be expanded. It is necessary to establish collection organization protection system through reinforcement of training of professional talents on TCM ancient books and enhancement of library construction. Regeneration of ancient books could be realized by digitization data management and sharing system, which could make full use of these ancient books and protect them.关键词
