Abstract
Objective To investigate the current situation of professional commitment of traditional Chinese medicine undergraduates. Methods A test of professional commitment was carried out among 964 TCM undergraduates with the Professional Commitment of Undergraduates Scale. Results The female undergraduates scored higher in the affective commitment and normative commitment than male students. Undergraduates majoring in TCM and acupuncture and massage scored higher in professional commitment than those majoring in Chinese pharmacy. Students of low grades scored higher in professional commitment than those of high grades. Undergraduates from the countryside scored higher in the ideal commitment than those from cities. Conclusion We should strengthen ideological education to improve the level of professional commitment of TCM undergraduates.关键词
