Abstract
The Dongzhi area,Anhui Province is situated on the northern fringe of the Yangtze landmass,overlying two secondary tectonic units of the Lower Yangtze Foreland Belt and the Jiangnan Uplift Belt. The unique tectonic setting creates favorable gold mineralization geological conditions and forms diversified gold deposits,mainly classified into magmatic hydrothermal type and weathering crust type by origin,and into fracture zone altered rock type,auriferous quartz vein type,micro- to fine-grained disseminated type and laterite type by industrial definition. Each type of gold has a separate cluster thus forming two major gold mineralization belts. The Zhaojialing Fault Zone is dominated by fracture zone altered rock type of gold,associated with auriferous quartz vein,with great potential along the Zhongfan-Daijia,and Zhaojialing-Yangjiashan as the major target,and some potential in Jiuhuazhuang,etc;the Gaodan Fault is mi-cro- to fine-grained disseminated gold-dominant,accompanied with fracture zone altered rock type and laterite type, with the Zhaceqiao area being the priority target,and also having some potential in Tongluojian,Xiaohe,etc.关键词
