Abstract
The equivalent structure of FIR half-band filter is studied to simplify its structure and improve algorithm efficiency. The time-domain and frequency-domain features of FIR half-band filter are described. The simplified structure of this filter is deduced according to cascade equivalences of interpolation and decimation. A 10-order FIR half-band filter is taken for simulation example, and the results show that the simplified structure can effectively help to reduce the amount of delay-units, the frequency of multiplication in order to increase the efficiency of algorithm and to decrease the occupation of hardware.关键词
