Abstract

  The graphics development component WindML in VxWorks operating system only provide CHIPS chip with generic driver support, there is no specific driver program for CHIPS 65445 display chip. Therefore, this article proposed one method which using WindML graphics drive design method of CHIPS65545 chip based on the PowerPC embedded platform. Based on PowerPC embedded platform, use WindML operation system graphics development component in VxWorks operating system to develop display driver based on CHIP65545 chip, and give the detailed steps of development. The experimental results show that the program is working correctly, the resolution can reach 1 024×768, refresh rate is 60Hz, the highest support reaches 8bpp color depth. It runs smoothly in application.
