Abstract
As a special narrative stylistics, the origin of Chinese reportage has been debated. There are four most representative perspectives. Firstly, it has existed since the ancient times. Secondly, it originated from the modern times. Thirdly, it arose from the May Fourth Movement. Fourthly, it originated in the 1930s. In combination with the right and wrong discrimination of the four perspectives, the establishment of the time domain of the origin of Chinese reportage bears the brunt of the problems to be solved in reportage literary theory research. Modern spe-cial social environment as well as the literary features of the reportage on the creation of Liang Qichao and others undoubtedly confirmed the reasonable legitimacy of modern origin.关键词
