Abstract
Gao Chang site is the largest existing soil sites in Sinkiang area. This paper investigates, presents and summari-zes the characteristics of architectural form, geographical env-ironment, history and preservation of Gaochang ruins. Gaocha-ng has more than one thousand four hundred years of history, located in the central plains road to western countries, is an im-portant military base in the Chinese rule in Western countries. Gaochang has important geographic significance in Chinese Buddhism history. This paper makes a comprehensive assess-ment of the site of Gucheng from three aspects of history, scie-nce and art.关键词
