摘要

Abstract

Clearances and creepage distance is an important test item of safety test and international proficiency testing. Starting from the basic concept of the standard, this paper identifies the similarities and differences of clearances and creepage distance on the concept. Relationship between other items of safety test and clearances-creepage distance is discussed. Approaches of various factors affecting test results are analyzed, and especially emphasis on some important items involving path selection, impulse withstand voltage, overvoltage category, the electric field, the level of contamination, and material group are highlighted as well as the process of determining clearances and creepage distances result data are summarized. Finally, through the analysis of the test instances, the process of test results are described, and the significance of the grasp of these two parameters for electrical producers are derived from.
