Abstract
Combining the intrinsic filtering characteristics of smoothing reactors and DC filters with Hilbert-Huang transform signal frequency analysis characteristics, this paper uses electromagnetism emulator PSCAD/EMTDC to build a HVDC model and simulate faults inside or outside DC line, and analyzes the transient voltage signals in the various faults of the HVDC transmission line. And then the paper also puts forward a scheme of HVDC transmission line voltage protection based on Hilbert-Huang transform. when different faults occur on the DC lines, its frequency and energy of transient voltage have obvious characters with the analysis of calculation, According to these characters, a criterion of HVDC transmission line voltage protection has been formed to make up for the shortcomings of ground fault with high resistance which can not be accurately judged ground fault.关键词
