A Novel Tri-Band Bandpass Filter Incorporating Stub Loaded Resonator and DGS Resonator*

摘要

Abstract

A novel triband filter composed of stub loaded resonator (SLR) and defected ground structure (DGS) resonator is presented in this paper . The SLR with interdigital coupling forms two passbands centered at 2 . 45 GHz and 5 . 25 GHz, and the DGS resonator on the back forms a bandpass response at 3 . 5 GHz, which have realized independent passband design . Based on this method, a triband filter operating at 2 . 45/3 . 5/5 . 25 GHz is designed, fabricated and characterized, which can be used in wireless communication . The simulated and measured results show good agreements and validate the proposed design method .
