摘要

Abstract

With the rapid development and practical application of software defined radio(SDR), U. S military Satellite Communication ( SATCOM) terminals are evolving to softwaredefined, modular, and multifunctional terminals . The next generation SATCOM terminal programs of U. S army, navy, and air force are introduced, the characteristics of these terminals are analyzed, the future trend of U. S military SATCOM terminals is summarized,and what we can learn from it is presented .
