Abstract
The occurrence and expansion of large-scale blackouts occurred on July 30 and 31, 2012 respectively in India Power Grid and the restoration of the power grid from the blackouts as well as the analysis on the reason causing the large-scale blackouts are presented. On the basis of summing up the lessons from the large-scale blackouts occurred in India, the main large-scale blackouts occurred in foreign countries in recent years are retrospected and the common character of these blackouts and differences among them are summarized. Finally, based on China’s power grid operation and management and actual conditions of interconnected interregional power grids in China, the lessons to be learnt from large-scale blackouts occurred abroad for China’s power grid dispatch and operation are listed.关键词
