摘要

Abstract

Capsular polysaccharides(CP)are protective antigens and virulence factors of bacteria,which have good immunogenicity and are ideal candidates as vaccines.Compared with traditional vaccines,capsu-lar polysaccharide vaccines (CPV)are safer and more effective with single component.As a result,they have become one of the world's most widely used vaccines.People have carried out a lot of experiments and made some progress on the CPV of both human and animals in recent years.This review focused on the bi-osynthesis and biological function of CP,the mechanism on CPV,and the research progress of CPV at home and abroad.The advantages and disadvantages of CPV were also analyzed.This is useful for the fur-ther study of CPV.
