摘要

Abstract

Sodium-dependent neutral amino acid transporter 2 ( SNAT2 ) , which belongs to transport system A,is the main transporter of nitrogen in vivo. SNAT2 is well known as typical amino acid transceptor founded in recent years, which plays a dual role of amino acid transporter and receptor through regulating the concentra-tion of intracellular amino acids, thereby regulating the downstream signal of intracellular amino acid receptors. Because of its unique features, SNAT2 has become an attractive topic in nutritional induction of amino acids in recent years. In the present review, the new research progresses on the molecular characteristics, biological properties, expression regulation and amino acids sensing signaling of SNAT2 were summarized.
