摘要
Abstract
Urban street is one of the most important public spaces in history, but this function is lost gradualy in the development of modern urbanization nowadays. Barcelona had begun Public Space Revitalization Initiative since 1980s. To solve the contradiction between demand of transit which caused by rapid urban expansion and recession of public ambitions, Barcelona integrated the smal public spaces and transportation infrastructures, rebuilt the walking street as axis, created the multi-level city expressway system and ecological greenway through the railway rebuilt project based on the existing railway corridor. It promoted the urban revitalization through landscape infrastructure, became the model city of regeneration. These experiences are helpful to explore the compact utilization of the urban space, develop the urban public space in high density cities and promote the quality of urban lives in China.关键词
