摘要

Abstract

A new method for fault line selection based on Hilbert Huang Transformation (HHT)and fractal dimension is pro-posed to avoid wrong selection of fault line selection algorithm in various faults of small current grounding system.In consid-eration of transformer saturation,data of zero-sequence current is collected first;then,data in 1/8 cycle before and after the fault is respectively decomposed by empirical mode decomposition(EMD)to select the highest-frequency intrinsic mode function (IMF)component for mutational points detection and compare mutational point polarity to selection fault lines;fractal dimension method is adopted for EMD of fault information to calculate instantaneous frequency and current value of each IMF component and compare with free oscillation frequency of transient zero-sequence current.The leading IMF com-ponent is selection for signal reconstruction and fractal correlation dimension is calculated.Moreover,correlation dimension is compared in different embedded dimensions to form line selection criteria;in the final a comprehensive decision-making of two lines selection is used for correct line selection.The simulation experiment shows the accuracy of the method.
